Working with Template Library
Updated over 5 months ago

Triform offers a variety of ready-to-use templates with scripts and requirements already set up, making it easy for you to create and manage modules effortlessly. This guide will walk you through the process.

Understanding the Template Library

Instead of starting from scratch, you have access to major boilerplate scripts. These predefined scripts give you a head start, saving you a significant amount of time and effort—perfect for beginners or anyone looking to expedite their workflow.

Managing Templates

Triform provides a diverse range of templates tailored to different needs. Each template is tagged by topic, making it incredibly easy to find what you need. You can search or filter by tags using the dropdown menu or by clicking on the tags. This ensures you quickly find the right template.

Template Details

You can get more information on each template by clicking “View Details.” This takes you to a page with all the details about the template, including:

  • Readme: Detailed information about the template, how it works, its components, and use cases.

  • Code: The actual script, allowing you to review it before using.

  • Requirements: All the dependencies you need to run the module smoothly.

These requirements are automatically added when you create the module, making the process smooth and error free.

Creating Modules Using Templates

There are two easy ways to create a module using the templates:

  • Click “Use Template” directly: Start creating right away.

  • Click “View Details,” then “Create Module with this template”

  • Both methods lead to a pop-up where you enter the module name and description. After filling that out, just click “Create Module.”

  • Once created, you'll be taken to the modules page where all dependencies are automatically installed, making sure your module is ready to go.

In this section, we’ve covered the basics of understanding, managing, and using templates to create modules. You’re now all set to make the most of Triform's template library.
